I was wondering what the general RevLeft opinion is on the International Criminal Court.
Self-explanatory, really.

Mostly intended for use against troublesome "third world" losers.
Imperialist soldiers and government officials are naturally exempt.
What else would you expect?

I don't think it will work.

If it were an International court run by workers and the poor then it would be worth a damn but since it is run by corrupt governments it is meaningless.

What about in the context if Bush actually found evidence against Bin Laden and went to the international court, instead of invaiding Afghanistan, would you have supported that?

Actually, Bush has not signed on to the court because he fears US citizens may be targeted for war crimes in Iraq and Afganistan.
