Internationalism

I notice a strong internationalist bent on this site. I am not an internationalist, I believe in socialism in one country. Fear not, I am not one of those racist cowards who call themselves the national bolshevists, I am just a socialist who is proud of America and wants to keep it alive. Is there anything wrong with that. I mean, I love my people but I hate my government.

You believe in an ideology that is doomed to fail. Socialism in one country will be ruthlessly attacked by the imperialists until it degrades into despotism, and eventually back into capitalism.

Can you define who exactly "your people" are?

Why are you so proud of America? Why not have pride in humanity has a whole? You reek of nationalism.

I think this statement is an oxy-moron. You cannot be a socialist while at the same time being 'proud' of a capitalist state.

I used to be proud of Britain, until I realised that what I was proud of was both some of the worst parts of British history and also no longer represented by today's society. What part of America's rich cultural heritage (all 200 years of it, and half of those were spent getting the Native Americans to let go of their land) are you proud of exactly?
