when i first joined up i was pro-religion. but now i realise it's just a way to keep people down.

i told a mate that in the old testament god ordered the israelites to ethnic cleanse various peoples, and that god condoned rape and murder, killing people for their religiouse beliefs and race. he said it was different times in those days, and i said yes it was, and to blame christians would be foolish, however, is it not the same god today as the one who ordered this shit.

but some churchy guy was asking for quotes and extracts but i can't find them. does anyone know any, where god orders the killing of every man women and child of the canaanites etc. or any athiest sites where i can get them?
