i just watched the 1969 film 'easy rider.'
it was really entertaining and well-made, not to mention that it promoted a really leftist message of freedom, equality, individualism, etc. to quote one of the characters, "i mean, it's real hard to be free when you are bought and sold in the marketplace.
i recommend it. any thoughts on it?

I love it.
Especially the part that you're talking about.
George? goes on to talk about some crazy advanced alien civilization that doesn't need money because they've eliminated scarcity :)

This movie is on my list of those i need to watch. It's been there for about two years, I should really try to remove it soon.

Boring film, but not to bad I guess. I would give it around 6.5/10.

I too have seen this film and I enjoyed it. Not only was there a good message and theme of freedom, but the soundtrack is amazing.
It's a film about how it is to be the "stone on the shoe" of society.
