Outspoken US Christian evangelical broadcaster Pat Robertson has accused Muslims of planning world domination, and said some were "satanic".

On his live television programme, The 700 Club, he said radical Islamists were inspired by "demonic power".

On the programme, the 75-year-old preacher responded to a news item about the reaction of Muslims in Europe to the publishing of cartoons satirising the Prophet Muhammad.

The footage showed Muslims screaming "May Allah bomb you! May Osama Bin Laden bomb you!"

Mr Robertson said the pictures "just shows the kind of people we're dealing with. These people are crazed fanatics, and I want to say it now: I believe it's motivated by demonic power. It is satanic and it's time we recognize what we're dealing with".

He went on to say that "Islam is not a religion of peace", and "the goal of Islam, ladies and gentlemen whether you like it or not, is world domination".

Why are we suprised that he has to make yet another stupid airheaded comment? He calls Islam a bunch of extremists yet there are Christian sects that are pretty fucking extreme as well. Abortion clinic bombings anyone?

Indeed - if cartoons were published implying the same thing those other ones were, there'd be a bloody uproar in the States - not so much iver here I think; we are more secular and I'm damn glad of it.

Some muslism ran his suv into a college campus in this state trying to run people over. He said he didnt do it because he hated Americans but because Allah would like him. Apparently the Quran told him he can do this. So maybe we can get some nut bag christian to gather all the stones he can find and start throwing him at people with the intent to kill? Afterall the bible says stone non-belivers to death.
