I am about to attend the University of West Florida, and I need some ideas as to how to promote Communism in the most practical and accesible way.
Any thoughts?

Yeah, I have a thought, why are you going to college in a swamp in the middle of hurricane alley?
As for communism, start by pointing out the errors of capitalism (try using humor too), then give solutions in common everyday ENGLISH without actually calling it communism at first.
People (viz. in the U$) often jump to "Communism = Stalin = Hitler = Pure Evil" reasoning when they hear communism. Call it something else ("workerism"?) if anything at all.
Be sure to have points against right wing nut jobs too. And most importantly have fun!

Demographics is not struggle. It wouldn't matter if you went to Pensacola Junior College or never went to a college at all. Wherever the struggle is, that's where communism is being promoted.

Small, but progressive discussions always help - for instance, one friend of mine was once complaining with me about the price of a book he needed for a post-graduation course on power system transient analisys (we are both undergrads) he took as an elective discipline, I found it a good opportunity to say to him that labour, not the materials from which the book is made - paper, ink, etc. that has real value.
At first, try to avoid revolutionary keywords like "bourgeoise" or "proletariat" and you'll avoid heavy reactionary replying - you probably won't have many leftists friends to back you up, and won't be able to express yourself. Remember, you'll be outnumbered...
