Kapitan Andrey, thats what I mean, the english letters being turned into cyrillic, its kinda hard to work out. You think you could just transliterate instead? Russian isn't my first language, so I can't really gues what you're saying you know?

Also, Im Irish by birth, but i just call myself Australian because I lived here 17 of my nineteen years.

My stupid name was just because I was reading about Pinochet just before I signed up and was kinda angry about it all. I wish I could change it though.

I know how to spell it, i was writing it as you say it. IN poka the stress is on the "A" so the "O" sounds like an A. And it's the same thing for Russia. Spelled "rossii" but said "rAssii."

I am half Russian, and also have Byelorussian, Polish and Ukrainian ancestors. I am all for Slavic cooperation, and as you could see from Sasha GROBAR's post, communism is what we both desire. This is where we disagree with you. You want to kick the USA's ass, but you want to do it capitalist way, just for the sake of victory. Are you implying that I'm not intelligent bacause I write it phonetically instead of a jumbled, hard to decipher cyrillic text.

You have your preference and that's fair enough. But I write it how I say it. You see, you use "l/l" to represent the "ee" sound, but then you use "sh" to make the "sh" sound because you can't make the correct letter. So it ends up in a mishmash of Latin and strange looking cyrillic letters.

I just think its much easier to read it from the screen as you say it, purely because it isn't in the correct text.

I don't know if this is the first time someone will tell you that "pojaluysto" has a different spelling, but my point was: do not tell somebody who is trying to write in his second languge your second language is better than their second language.
