Iraqi Oil = U.S. $$?

First let me say i am opposed to war.

I am just confused about one thing. How does the U.S. make money off Iraqi Oil after this war?
I am just wondering this, because i hear that all money off oil will be put in a UN trust fund to go back to the Iraqi People. Is this just propoganda?

well i don't see many other reasons this liberation bullshit that they're trying to sell us sound like bullshit to me since they suported pol pot,the burundi crissis, the south american dictators,idi amine,the dictaor in the congo,the taliban[in the begining],sadam regime and they also sold oil and tank barrings to the nazis i don't think it's liberation.They also like to preserve feudlelistic arab states suadi arabia croate jordan and serria and want to make a example of revolutionised arab states like iraq and possibly iran and libia.They would also like control in the arab states through dictators shahs etc.Finaly the american capitalist ecconomy is colapesing[back me up here americans]they need more reasorses to stablelize the dying nation so i'd have to say it is properganda bullshit and they lie in EVERY war

--Some may, but don't expect it all too. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the money goes "missing" along the way as it travels through the U$ economy.

The way that the U$ will make their stinking money is through businesses. There have already been plans for businesses to swoop into Iraq after the war is done such as BP, Petronas, Shell etc etc.

The american economy is in recession. Wars pull countries out of recession as they reap the benefits of the countries they invade. The afghan war of terror, in which they never actually caught the terrorist, was meant to restore comsumer confidence and gain more influence across the Middle East, by setting up a puppet leader.

No doubt Iraq will give the U$ a foothold in the Middle East, more space to operate in and seek out more Middle East oil reserves. US forces have already secured oil-wells, and are making quite a big fuss over the way some were set alight.

The US has already stated that they will use "some" of the profits from Iraqi oil to pay for the invasion.

Translation= We're keeping all the oil and Halliburton and the it's contractors are going to control it and run it. Dick Cheney and the rest stand to make a ton of money.

If they weren't going to keep the oil, then they wouldn't have so quickly gotten troops to over 1000 wells at the beginning of the "war" to protect them. It's all shit propaganda.

I know this is typical Yerba idealism, but fuck it. Americans should BOYCOTT the blood of the earth (that would be oil)---or at least it's main uses once and for all. Meaning, their automobiles and shit. AT LEAST if there were more people breaking down the walls to start hydro-electric--- that would be something. The oil will run out one day too. DAH. It takes millions of years to produce the stupid shit. And when it runs out? watch out! Oil is used for everything under the sun.
