Gradualist Fool

Hello, I'm a moderate 21-year-old Liberal from the United States, although my father's Scottish and I have dual citizenship, being technically both an American and a Brit, though I've never livd there.
I use the term "Blue Dog" Liberal after the Blue Dog Democrats in America who express moderate Liberalism, particularly over gun control. I oppose gun control and on many issues I am moderate. Economically, I support capitalism, but mixed-market capitalism, Ordoliberalism, and Keynesian economics. In many ways, I'm a centrist Democratic Socialist, not particularly revolutionary except in the sense that I want the Democrats back in the American government.
As I said, I have fairly diverse views, so people will probably be surprised with the things I say on various issues. Mostly, I've noticed I have a tendency to turn away from extremism. On Liberalforum.org, I faced fanatical political correctness, to the point that, despite being a feminist myself, saying "feminazi" was unduly offensive, even calling someone gay as a joke would get a person banned. As a result, I shifted to the right. On ProtestWarrior.com, however, I faced incredible ignorance and a particularly rabid bigotry against Islam, sort of cementing myself in the left wing.
Of course, after a few months of dealing with the Communists and Anarchists on this forum, I should probably be a full-fledged right-winger. :D
