Hi Everyone!!
I just found this forum and I thought I would would sign up and join people like me in the discussion of the Red-Arts (the name i give to the Socialist Struggle for justice and equality) I am a dedicated rebel and never tend to agree with unfair remarks or views which have in themselves a rightist nature. I have lived in London all my life and have also been surrounded by corporate-white-collar-capitalists who whom i have a deeply personal problem with. I am a business student for i want to hopefully one day work for the United Nations as an adviser or an economist in some of the poorest areas of the world where corrupt governments reign. My dream is not to kill capitalism, for it has to be said, it has its advantages; my real dream is to manipulate it and use its great wealth to equally distribute it among those harmed by it, e.g, the homeless, the seekers of peace, etc.
I also happen to have a problem with the current Government of the United States, i see it as a manipuative-imperialist government who think they are God, but the reality is that they are at war with themselves and are crumbling fast. I am a great supporter of the current socialist wave sweeping through Latin America; it biggest contributor being one of my greatest heroes, President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. I happen to be against the Free Trade Area for the Americas (FTAA) and i fully support the alternative kickstarted by venezuela, the Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA, in Spanish)
Yes, I am a Latin American (as you can probably guess) and I love the current Socialist trend taking place in my continent, i do not support authoritarian dictatorships, for these are usually malign, however I do support the Democratic Dictatorship of Comrade Castro who is bringing sunny Cuba out of poverty despite the "holocaustic" trade embargo which American Imperialism has placed upon it. I recently read that Cuba is looking at ways of establishing a knowledge-based economy using its great expertise on the areas of medecine and science, Cuba is not a Dictatorship, it is a Revolutionary Democracy.
Now, i hope i have given a long enough insight as on what sort of person i am, i am a progressive thinker and an ally of the poor, i would be most pleased if my fellow comerades, already members of this great space on the WWW, would give me a warm welcome.
I shall start to contribute to this amazing red community from this moment on,
yours sincerely
