This year is the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Spanish Republic, a page in the history for the liberation of the working class. I want to pay a tribute to the comrades who fought in the civil war, by showing the wonderful republican propaganda posters.

Workers will be crucified under the nazi cross. 100000 volunteers are needed for the militias.

Nice posters!

What does Treballadors mean? Is that another way of spelling trabajadores (workers)?

It's kind of strange cuz I hardly recognizes any word in the first poster! Is that even Spanish??


That was a semester well spent in Spanish class... :(

Anywayz the second poster says "all the peoples in the world are on the side of the Spanish people".

Don't be so hard on yourself, some are in Catalan and Galician.

Anyone got any POUM posters. The republics ones are by and large just talk from class colabiratiors.
