[Oh-Dae-Su]

Well im a restricted member (which sucks lol), but anyway, i found interesting what i saw in the "Discrimination", i saw a thread called "INCEST", it of course deals with incest, i dont want to start a discussion, i just want to make a suggestion.


watch a movie called OLDBOY!! WATCH IT!!! PLEASE!!! you will be blown away! and also its where i get my name from Oh Dae Su. lmao

but seriously, its probably the only movie i have seen that does deal with incest, and it is also probably the best fucking movie of all times.

As I said in that thread, I see incest between adults as something society shouldn't interfere in as it would be a fascist approah imo.

Sentinel, the movie, is foreign first of all (wow what a surprise) lol, yeah i don't think Hollywood has the balls to make a movie which throws incest into your face like that, first of all Hollywood cares to much about making money instead of making art (maybe thats a far out statement, because Hollywood of course makes good movies) but anywhoo....

Oldboy is from Korea, im a big fan of asian films, it is also an award winning film, it won the Cannes Grand Prix in 2004, and what i like about Oldboy is that it deals with a new theme or topic which like i said i have never seen it before in another film, the most taboo thing we have seen in films is probably homosexuality or something? But incest is interesting, but the wonderful thing about Oldboy is that it is a movie about revenge, and the wickedness of revenge, with an amazing twist at the end which becomes something more sinister, it is a Kafkian story, adapted from a Japanese manga, well i have given you the film away, but god is it amazing.......

Bollywood has already made a remake , which is pretty much plagarism, they copied scene by scene of Oldboy, it is called Zinda, and Hollywood is going to make a remake as well, although both of the remakes are obviously altered, since Indian and American audiances probably won't be able to digest a movie which rips your body appart, it really does trust me. Also the movie is too original, some of the scenes will just never be able to be copied, like when the main character eats a live octopus alive.

anyways, im telling you check this movie out, you will never forget it , turst me.

ok, its about a guy named Dae-su who gets released after 15 years of imprisonment by someone named Woo-jin. Dae-su wants revenge for his imprisonment, but he is also curious as to why he was imprisioned. He then is given the task to find out why, and it was because Woo Jin had been nursing a grudge ever since Dae-su found out he was getting it on with his own sister. This made Woo Jin's sister kill herself to escape from public humiliation. The imprisonment is only the first part of Woo-jin's revenge. He then arranges to have Mido, Dae-su's now grown daughter, and Dae-su to fall for each other. Of course Dae-su is oblivious that it is his daughter, because he has been told that she was adopted by a family in Sweden.Woo-jin then reveals to Dae-su that he is fucking his daughter.

lmao its a fucking disturbing movie, if you watch it, don't watch it with your parents. It is a complex plot, but its not hard to understand at all.
