Proof that communism would "work"

Hello comrades.

I'm quite sure most people here are convinced communism would work if put into practice. However the majority of the world are not - and I was wondering if anyone here could provide me (and anyone else who cares to read them) with examples of how communism would work, ie, in primitive society, everyone in the tribe worked for everyone, so to speak. Any other good examples? They're very useful while debating... although my opponents are often quick to point out I use similar examples again and again. It would be useful to compile a list of them in the form of a short essay... perhaps I would do that if enough are posted.

here is me (Her0) trying to explain Communism to a bunch of gamers who could go either way, and a few cappies. I quoted a few articles I have found here that I found especially intresting.

Also, some great things you can go off of would be the fact that people with power, will use that power. Though I expect that should be in everyones arguements somewhere. Along with that you have to remind them that Communism is a transitional "government" or state, so most comparisons between Capitalism and Communism would be rediculous to say the least.

Anyway, I hope that my posts arguing from the Communist stance didn't miss the mark too badly. :P
