It seems that again and again, adults believe 8fr some reason I cannot explain) that young people tend to show "no respect" and like to be "activists as a fashion".

These articles from The Guardian:

"Children of the revolution"
Who can blame the decision-makers of the future for taking to the streets?

"School's out as the young rediscover radical voice "
Student walkouts see thousands take to the streets

clearly show the fears some adults have towards youth forces who join anf raise up their voices.

I'm old as most of you know and my children are about you average age. One thing I have learned in life is that we (grown up adults) are not the future anymore. We were the future when we were young.

All of you, 15 - 25 etc, are the future. Don't ever give up struggling, don't ever let others silence your voices. I'm not calling for a revolution, I don't believe that losing young people's life will be worth. I'm just saying: don't shut up. Never.

All you need to do is look around and fight back injustice committed in this world.

Young people are smart, not stupid. The UN has been violated several times and then your teachers, parents or authorities try to brainwash your mind talking about fairness, justice, etc.

Look, listen and learn*. Think by yourselves. Then Speak Up.

*That was the titl of a book I used in primary school to learn English

Its a ***** but most young people are activists only while young. There is something wrong with society but as people get older (and richer) they start to prefer the corrupt shitty world in which we live. Most of the people complaining will have been ideological once but now sink into Conservatism.
