View Full Version : Need help.
I am studying in a Christian institution and people there talk about Jesus all the time. The founders of our college often use to talk about god’s power and his experience with god. Then suddenly one day our founder said that he use to visit heaven often and talk to god and he also said that he is the only one in this world who has managed to go to heaven and come back. Now all of us know that he is a fraud and what do you guys think I can do about this. Is there any possibility of taking legal actions against his? And I live in India.

I am not an attorney...much less one versed in Indian law.
Claims of this sort are commonplace in all religious institutions. There was a guy running a big church in the U.S. who told his followers that he had spoken with "Jesus". He said "Jesus" told him that if his congregation didn't donate an enormous sum of money within a certain time period that he would be "called to Heaven". It was such an outrageous claim that sports books in Nevada began taking bets on whether this con-man would be "called to Heaven" or not...though I can't now remember the quoted odds.
I think the best thing you can do is write down exactly what happened, what this guy tells people, as close to his original wording as possible.
And then tell people on Christian web sites in India.
This will help undermine the faith of the readers...and may even draw some legal attention to the school and its "Heavenly visitor".
When it comes to religion, I think bourgeois law in most countries says it's ok to lie.
