The main Reason Latin people dspise the US

The people in the US don’t understand why they are so despised abroad. There is a very simple explanation. Did you know the American policy, for stopping the AIDS virus, STDs, and teenage pregnancy is sexual abstinence!? Bush continues to enforce that he will help lead the world on this issue. The Unites States wants to impose sexual abstinence and still wonders why it invokes so much hate.

Speaking as a Latin American, I know that sexual abstinence is unconceivable in our part. We, Latin people, are lovers, we dance with passion, and we do everything with a certain sexual nuance. How do you think the Spanish and Portuguese settlers populated such a stupendously vast South American territory? They had sex until their scrotums dried up. No matter if they were European royalty, sexual predators tempted with all the naked Indians, or even gifted black slaves. They enjoyed sex. How can the US advertise sexual abstinence, if in Latin America, sex is a State priority?

I read an essay by Brazilian writer Diogo Mainardi, which agrees with my perspective, and furthermore clarifies things by noting that: “kids between 12 and 13 were made fun of by their colleagues if they did not have the syphilis scar on their body, as if it were a war scar. (During colonization)”

Sex was the major Latin American contribution to humanity, now the America government wants to deprive my people of this honor? Buuuuuuu I say.

Well that is one way of looking at the dislike for the USA by Latin America. America has recently been really trying to push the abstinence policy. On tv there is now an add compaign called We-Matter (check it out at we-matter.com). The site is crammed full of useless crap backed up by abasluately no hard facts. The USA needs to take a step back and realize that an abstinence campaign is ridiculous..and instead teach thorough safe sex education to its citizens. Im sorry that Latin America has to suffer from the ignorance of the USA Health Department.

While not Latin American myself, I would think that the American ruling class' influence in the region and attacks on the Latin American working class' interests would be why they hated the yankees.

But like stated before the main reason for resentment and hatred towards the US would be (neo) colonialism
