US/Israel plan nuclear attack on Iran to control oil and defend the dollar


US and Israeli governments plan a military attack against Iran, possibly using nuclear bombs [1] [2] [3] [4] [5], possibly this month (March 2006) for reasons including: stopping the planned opening of an international oil-petrochemical-gas stock exchange for oil trade in euros [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]; control of Khuzestan province [1] [2] [3] where most Iranian oil lies, on the border with Iraq (US war plan OPLAN 1002-04); to distract attention from USA domestic political problems; and for Christian fundamentalist reasons - Bush says he was just following God's orders when he ordered the attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq.

The official excuse for the attack is the possible nuclear weapons program in Iran: ex-CIA agents Paul Pillar and Ellen Laipson as well as retired United Nations weapons inspector Hans Blix state that if Iran were really trying to build atom bombs, then the most effective way to stop this would be a guarantee from the US and Israel not to attack Iran.

Iran has not (yet) violated the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), though the National Intelligence Community in the USA estimates that Iran could build nuclear bombs in about 10 years' time, and it seems that nuclear proliferator (US ally) Pakistan gave some help to Iran to do this [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
USA, France and the UK grossly violate Article VI of the NPT, which requires disarmament
Germany violates Articles I and II of the NPT by nuclear sharing
Israel has about 75-200 nuclear bombs and has neither signed nor ratified the NPT, but it is a member of the IAEA - the agency making inspections for the NPT
in June 2005, the USA blackmailed IAEA chief El Baradei to either "get tough" on Iran or lose his job

i am personally hoping that russia will provide advanced anti air weapons like the S-300
to iran.

it would be a good thing if the united states airforce is finally defeated and the isreali airforce would be a nice bonus aswell.
can you imagine the outcome if the "schock and awe" is turned into "stumble and blunder".
it would mean possibly a far bigger dent in the american military confidence then vietnam and hopefully render imperialism impotent for years.

but no matter what is going to happen its clear the iranian situation is one big can of worms that needs to be closely observed.

also i am in favor of america and other country's fighting as conflict is a good catalyst for revolution.
and on top of it conflict only weakens the powerbase of both sides aswell.

I don't think any sort of attack on Iran is in the near future, especially not a full-scale invasion. They can barely hold on to Iraq, which didn't provide much resistance initially. Iran actually has a capable army and even if the US got past that, there would be a substantial guerilla war. Furthermore, US troops are sick of being in Iraq and extremely demoralized and strecthed thin. Another war would be suicide.

ok i still do not get why the US (or should i say the government) is trying to become the government of the World. Last time i checked the US Government was made to govern the US people, not the persians. Thats why i believe that the "New World Order" theory maybe real.

actuall invasion would be incredibly hard to achieve but its not impossible either.
all he needs is to sucker the NATO country's into this meatgrinder and britian is certain to participate.

but to me its much more likely that bush is going to just plain old bomb the country into submission (like the bombing of serbia)
or at the very least give the israeli's permission do to their thing.

if only iran would get some high tech anti air defenses from russia then things would be a disaster for the attackers.

I'm kind of split on this issue....for example, I still think Iran -OFFICIALS- are SHIT..and needs to get smacked somehow..but then again, I don't think U.S. takin' over the role by bombing them (And "colleteral damaging" innocent citizens under the Mullah-rule) so I guess I'd say "Yeah, if you'd just be more precise!"

But then again, I guess that's not possible...and an invasion? Hmm!
So why not say..as Pat Robertson foolishly said about Chavez, "let's avoid a full costy war for 200 millions and just assasin this (these) guy(s)." Heheh :P

The United States wont invade Iran directly!!! Israel will be pushed into invading Iran by the U.S because of its surpport of Hamas (and many other reasons to do with self gain etc...)!!! the U.S will probaly provide more money to israel then what it already does and probaly have a back bench role (like in most of the cold war) in the invasion!!!

It wont really matter that much to the united states if there is a war with iran...to them its just middle eastern people killing middle eastern people why would they care???? they still get what THEY want out of it and they would probaly get it under the table from israel for providing them with the weapons that will eventually kill Iran people!!!!

Therez no doubt about the significance and intention of Bush's last trip to Asia, particularly India and Pakistan
He's prolly got the ok's from the two leaders of these countries, for attackin Iran
Though I do fear, that if Iran is attacked, the middle east will witness a great conflict, due in part to an Iranian response and the subsequent reataliation

The situation is intensifying day by day, and its sad to see the mass brainwashing that Washington has been able to succesfully conduct

normally i oppose imperialism but in this case its more like 2 rabid dogs tearing one another to pieces.

perhaps something good will come of this (america defeated) and irans mullahs weakenend to the point where they can be easily overthrown by the population.
perhaps israel's airforce will be decimated and that weakness causes the hostile nations to finally destroy the state that should never have existed.
