sorry if this has been posted before, but what are you guys' opinions on the situation in Spain regarding catalonia

Well I was for 3 months there in catalonia.
I worked there for a discotheque.
I liked to see that the people there stick to their identity.
In the beginning I called people spaniards.
And they didn't really appreciated that.
I understand that.
I'ts like scottish people don't like to be called english.
It's important to stick to your identity.
But for the rest I don't know too much about it.

Hi! I am Catalan! Well, Im from Valencia. Here the situation is very bad. Much people are spaniardist (is correct? I want to say "pro-occupation").

But we resisted!

I think the situation is improving, as Catalonia seems to be getting a lot more autonomy granted. It isn't really enough, though.
