Totally, the first review on the link to the book basically says it all. Plus, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the translation; I have no idea where they got that from.

I've got the book, it's almost identical to the film, the translation is good, although I believe there were about 5 mistranslations that made me laugh.

I’ve got a bit of interest in Japan, but a lot of the time when I’m reading or watching stuff their argumentation sounds whimsical and a bit absurd. I put it down to bad translation and the fact that a lot of their philosophy really hasn’t been separated from religion.

but i want to try and get a copy of this.
