Hey, Just Coming Back to Check In with u guys

I know, I know...I don't visit as much as I should, and let me just say...it's me...not you...sometimes people need a little time to grow....but I still love you...and I hope that one day we can be together again...

On a serious note I've been incredibly busy this year(school year)...I've got 4 AP classes which consume a lot of my time...I spent a great deal of time trying to get in to college....and I've just started tennis practice so I'm not getting home till around 6 pm every night...and usually I'm exhausted.

I got in to St. John's college...so I'll be spending the next four years studying philosophy, arguing with rich kids, and going to DC on weekends to yell at politicians and hasseling people at the Supreme court.

The school is giving me about 34,000 in grants, loans, and work study...so I'm happy...but I still need to earn some money...so it looks like I'll be a wage slave at Kroger until fall.

I take it St. John's was not your first choice. I remember you saying you wanted to go to Bard and I sent you some info of the area. That is my neck of the woods. Awww, too bad! you, me and Pete (Seeger)-- Yup, he lives here too, Beacon, NY ---would have had fun protesting the war and the recruit centers here on Saturdays.

Actually St. John's was my first choice...their program appeals to me a great deal. I didn't even end up applying to Bard. I Applied to St. John's, Wash U, and U of Chi
but now that I'm in to St. John's I don't really care.

I just want to read my books, debate philosophy, and go to DC on weekends to bother politicians.

So yeah basically the same stuff that's going on with you except I don't play tennis. I almost applied to St. Johns too!

I got into San Diego State Uni, Cal state Long Beach, Cal State Chico, Northern Arizona Uni and I'm still waiting to hear from Cal State Sac-town but I don't really care what they have to say. The hard part now is deciding where I want to go. I'm leaning towards the beach schools but I really don't know.

Oh and now my best friend moved in with me cus she got kicked out and we're having loads of fun! okay...
