Recently our highschool, all years, were forced into our gym into the bleachers, while some army recruiters talked to us, they had some sort of army band too. I was just wondering if they can actually force us to attend those, i can see allowing recruiters to walk the halls, but your not required to listen to their bullshit, being forced into the gym, well I duno? can i just walk out, would have been nice. I'm in the U.S. if that matters.

Of course you can refuse to participate in any attempts by army recruiters to brainwash you. All you have to do is state your beliefs condemnation of the illegal war in Iraq and that you do not support someone who is a despicable piece of shit who spies on his own people and is guilty of voter fraud. Refuse to listen to anything they have to say on the principle of ethics "I'm not going to enlist in the army and go over to Iraq to kill poor people because war criminals tell me to".
Who cares if you're allowed to leave or not? Do it anyways.

i'm not sure what i am talking about apllies directly to your case but ina local high school, a senior refused to have his name given to a recruitwer and subsiquently had his name taken off the yearbook sports teams etc.
Start a counter-recruitment campaign.

We I was in highschool in the 80s we were made to take the absvad test and listen to the recruiters spiel. I filled in the dots to spell Slayer :)
