Hawarameen you must understand that Iraq is responsible for this war themselfes. Because Iraq attacked Iran and Kuwait wich both are muslim countrys like Iraq. And therefore the arab countrys allows Us forces in their territories. And if Iraq had not attacked Iran and Kuwait the world would not have been so suspicious at Iraq and it's massdistruction capacities. But anyway i will pray that the war ends quickly.

How can you be so insensitive? It's obvious that Hawarameen's scared shitless for her loved ones. Whether or not you think Iraq had it coming, I don't think this is the thread to talk about it.

I hope that everything turns out ok for you hawarameen. I hope Saddam leaves with as little blood as possible, however I do not support the war, but I fear what Saddam may do before he is beaten or after he wins (if).

oh wait u already did. apparently it's responsible cos' it is suspicious

Am i correct hawarameen?
Anyway, godspeed to ur relatives man, my thoughts are with them :)

spoke to my aunt yesterday and they were in high spirits, they want this war. i know iraq brought this on itself and i await any suprises that saddam has. the thing is he is an egotist of the biggest kind, i belive he thinks he could win this war easily and that his whole army is behind him.
iraq has a muslim population but is far more secular than saudi or iran for example. the laws do abide by koranic principles but not to the degree of severity of other muslim governments.
Praxis, its ok i dont think he ment any offense, by the way i am a HE, LOL
How rude, i forgot to thank you all for your lovely remarks (exept praxis)

My thoughts are with all Kurds and Iraqis, especially those on this site and their families.
We will campaign for a Kurdish state and full rights for Kurds. You cannot be left in the cold again.

KURDISTAN $ EVERYONE. I do agree.. We need a Kurdiwhatever, we need a Palestine, we need a revolution in Columbia that will spearate the country into two governments. !. The rebels
2. The existing ogvernment. Hopefully that would fix they're "situation."

Do you think i am insensitive. When i was 2 years old Iraq attacked my country Iran. Just so they could occupy the oil fields. And they bombed iranian soldiers with Chemical weapons. My mothers cousin was killed in combat.
My uncels fot was blown beacause he stepped on a iraqi mine.

I feel sorry for you and your mother but that war is in the past. I know you personally so i know that you dont like saddam but we and the rest of the world must stop this war and stop the us from killing everyone that doesn´t do as the us wants.
i think that your country has to build up there defences because bush said that the Evil powers of the world was
iraq, north korea and IRAN.
So if they win this war IRAN could be next

My father is currently in Erbil, which about an ahlf our drive from the iraqi border. He isn't afraid at all. I think I would be afraid If i was in his situation.
I don't think that the US will attack Iran. that would be stupid. The fundamentalist in Iran will be removed soon by the irani ppl. I have been several times in iran. My impression was that it gets better every year.
And íf the US atacks, the irani PEOPLE will fght. Not like in Iraq where nobody is motivated to fight for the regime.

Fair enough, Cyrus. I wouldn't wish what happend to your family any more than what could happen to Hawa's. I'm not from either Iraq or Iran, so I wouldn't want to take sides. I only hope that despite the atrocities perpetrated by Saddam on your people, you could still see that because all of us are human we are all therefore brothers and sisters. Don't be insulted by this, my friend. I mean no ill will towards anyone here.
By the way, sorry bout that Hawa. Just a typo.

cyrus' relatives weren't killed by the iraqis, they were killed by saddams regime. My relatives who died in halabja were killed by the regime, not by the iraqi people. Both the kurds and the iraqis suffer.

I know if the Usa attacks Iran I will give my life to defend it. Two uncles dead in Iraq-Iran war and three cousins, and several friends of family. Iranian soldiers believed they were fighting the us, which in a sense they were. Anyways to the point I strongly doubt the usa would attack Iran at this time. However they probably have plans for it in the future and it is always a possibility. Anti-americianism and opposition would grow enormously if the usa attacked another nation.

Iraq is not responsible for this war. The fact that Iraq has massive supplies of oil that Bush and his Oil Drilling cronies want their money grubbing hands on is what is mainly responsible for this war.
This is not a war of Liberation – It is a war of Occupation.
Granted, Saddam is a Madman – However, Bush is also a Madman.
All of that aside – My heart, hopes, and also prayers are with you and your family hawarameen
This is an awful thing that is being beset upon the place where you live right now. I can’t even imagine for a minute what you must be going though. I wish you, and all who are being victimized there, all the best. Keep the faith.
