You really shoudln't post such pics without anonymizing the anti-fascist protestors on it...this is a very basic activists rule, especially for photos like the first and second one.

I was totally unaware of this event. If I had been, I probably would've gone and joined the counter-demonstrators.

Malte does have a point here, kosoner. Though one would expect the protestors to wear wear masks but it seems that it is illegal here in Florida. 17 of the protestors were arrested and were charged with disorderly conduct, battery on a law enforcement officer, and wearing a mask.

The way the picture is framed, it looks like the cops are carrying the Nazi flag! PERFECT!

That pic is great, it almost looks as if the pigs are carrying that flag
Which wouldn't be that surprising...

As a converted hatefilled nazi skinhead scumfuck myself, the best way to deal with these people is NOT to try and silence them or counter protest them but to give them the mic, give them whatever they ask for for I assure you they will always hang themselves with their own rhetoric eventually. Do not shout obscenities at them for it only encourages them to seig heil and leave, once again feeling not oinly good about themselves but perpetuating the romanticized outlaw motif that attracts the confused youth they love to sink their claws into.

Give them all they slack and time they desire and watch with glee as it loses any underground appeal.

You were a nazi? That's interesting. Did you ever really dig into these ideas of racial superiority, or was that just a pose? Just wondering ;)

A bit of both. When you're made to feel inferioir in every way possible it's hard to resist clinging to the first sense of superioirty/worth that comes by. That's not a justification of course, but it is an honest explanation and after working with kids with similar mindsets it tends to be the norm and not the exception. No one wakes up and decides to adopt a racialist ideology. Something happens.

How were you made to feel inferior?

When a parent tells a 4 year old they're not going to add up to anything because fat kids grow up to be fat people who nobody likes and that even if they lost weight they'd still be a loser....well, let's just say I didn't need much persuading. On the plus side, I find self-deprecating humour absolutely liberating now.

But no mommy/daddy damage to speak of. They are who they are, and content being those people. No hard feelings are harboured.

It's actually pretty inspiring to hear that you've been able to shrug off all of that and better yourself.
