Here at my school, me and about 15 freinds started to protest a rule that we all have to stand in the direct front of the school. That's how it started. Now near 50 students are protesting that, and many other rules, such as the recent banning of shirts that are overtly left, i.e., Che Guevera shirts, Hammer and Sickle shirts, and others. We've made flyers, signs, and are planning a sit in. Any help on the subject would be much appreciated.

make good plans, when i was still in school i had my shot at a sit-in, it was a kinda spontanious action of a mate and me, well we got the attention, and by the end of the day about 30 people sitting with us, tough they just liked sitting with us.
to make a long story short, plan your actions well! Get a big base to rely on, on one another, you're gonna need it

Che Guevara and Hammer&Sickle shirts banned? Wtf?
Indeed you need a large base to rely on, but don't give up if you "only" have 50 people (do you live in the US? If you do, that's quite a lot, 50 people protesting anti-leftist rules :) )
And make sure everything you do is legal (and if you do anything illegal, that it can't be tracked down to you)

I can see Hammer and Sickle shirts being banned (though not understand), however, Che Guevara? Damn it, but I bet they would let a person in a Nixon shirt pass through the halls ...

Yeah, I live in Texas... go figure. I'm really the only one pissed about that. It could be that there's a pot leaf on my Che shirt, and then they figured all Che shirts had something to do with pot. Oh well, I don't think that'll last, nearly all hispanic kids in my school have a Che or Pancho Villa shirt.
Everyone else is just pissed about the new dress code in general.

Comrade, where are you from in Texas? I'm in Houston.
I remember having a walk out in 8th grade to protest the Iraq war.

There's a shirt with Che and a weed leaf?
That's idiotic seeing as Che never smoked weed in his life.

Yeah, I don't know. I just bought it to piss off the admins. It's a parody shirt, I think, it's got a Che face, and on the sleeves it has the leaves.

Making a parody of Che is not really all the funny, especially with its two key elements to it. That being, pot (which I believe he would have been against it) and being that the shirt was made by a capitalist corporation.

I think pot is an excellent tool for visionarys. It can give you great thoughts, if you use it right. But then, most of the time you end up singing a techno song in which you say "motherfucking dragon cat, drdrdrdrdragon cacacat".

I fail to see where mind altering stimulants are ways to produce greater thoughts then without it.

I fail to see why you think Che would've been against drugs?

The only person who knows is Che himself but seeing as he is dead it wont be easy trying to ask him.

psychedelics like cannabis, lsd, dmt, etc. produce greater thoughts because they let your subconscious mind merge with your conscious one, so you start to think thoughts that you would never had heard with out it. The barriers in your brain seperating different fields of thought conditioned to be strong through thousands of years of evolution are temporarily brought down.
while i don't have any experience in heroin, pills, coke, or other drugs that have little to do with the mind and are just used for fun or escape, i doubt they have the same effect as psychedelics
and i also fail to see why che would of been against cannabis

Exsaccaly. At the moment I am quite stoned, and may have trouble tpying~
DMT doesnt really help me see anything in a different way, its just really sary.
You can see things in a more all encompasing view, instead is waht is needed in a primitive society, like the one we're in now.

To get stoned is to see the world with a different set of eyes. Every revolutionary must get stoned to see where he has gone too far. This is a big factor I see in the Facist leaders, besides their bad ideas, they just don't know where to stop and take a rest.
Hence why I think every president must get stoned some, get laid a lot with young chicks, and dig newer music. So they don't have their heads so far up their asses as they do today. This is also why all drugs except for the stupid ones like Heroine and Meth should be legal.

I think you've got some argument there with the Che shirts. If you make it clear to the administration that Guevara does not equal marijuana, and they don't let you wear them, you've got a legal case.
See Tinker vs. Des Moines.
