I saw this video on TV a few days ago and liked it, so I searched for it on the net.

I like the part where Warren G says: "when it's revolution time all these fools keep quiet like shhh, you could hear a pin drop".

Also the part Ice Cube sings is pretty good, basically he sings of the "black and the brown" having to unite against the "white" in the US.

I do not like hip hop. It's unrevolutionary. Didn't Warren G. sing with Snoop Dog the following lyrics

"*****es ain't shit but hoes and tricks
Lick on these nuts and suck the dick"

and

"Every other city we go
And on the radio
No matter where I go I see the same hoes."

etc. ad nauseum.

Yeah real creative ... A real Lord Byron here.

I don't know any of his other songs, so if you intended to attack me by posting that info you failed miserably.

Am I attacking you? Are there any words in my post directed at you of an inflammatory nature? I think not? I don't know you so I won't make any judgments about you but as far as hip hop is concerned it is absolute bullshit. 99.99999999999% of hip hop is circus feed

I said if you are attacking me, I didn't say you were, good to know you weren't.

As for hip hop/rap, I like some songs by some artists, mainly 2pac, that doesn't mean I agree with his other songs which are derogatory towards women.

The same applies here, I like this song by Warren G, that doesn't mean I agree with what he sings in his other songs.

Always look at the big picture M-L ! Warren G is hypocrite, Ice Cube has a nice new politcial record and even works together with Public Enemy.

What about the likes of Dead Prez, Immortal Technique, Non Phixion and KRS-One et al?

Every now and again some jackass comes out with a sweeping indictment of hip-hop based upon a few artists and their reactionary lyrics.

I think it's quite sad.
