Dear comrades;
When reading about Nazi-Soviet relations and Hitler's quest for lebensraum I remember reading a letter Hitler wrote to Mussolini stating that as Operation Barbarossa began he felt a weight lifted off of his soldiers as even though he had had relations with stalin through the Nazi-Soviet Pact , the pact had gone against his ideas and principles.He continually refers to the Jewish Bolshevism and its power in Moscow. Why does he always refer to Jews and Bolshevism in the Soviet Union? I thought Bolshevism was Russians. Where do these references to Jewish Bolshevism derive from?

I appreciate your informed replies

Well many of the bolshevik leaders were (non-believing) jews, at least prior to Stalin's purges. Perhaps the most prominent of these was Leon Trotsky, or Bronstein which was his original name.

Them being jewish had naturally nothing to do with their ideologies, but Hitler in his confused mind thought that communism was some kind of "jewish conspiracy".

The Soviet Union wasn't just Russia, but a bulwark of many nations. Not even Stalin was a russian. He was from Georgia.

Hitler might have got the idea of communism as a "jewish conspiracy", because Karl Marx also had jewish heritage. His family had converted to protestantism though, and he himself was an atheist of course. Religion is an opiate for the masses, as he put it.

And Hitler also thought everything was result of jewish conspiracies, he certainly blamed even bad weather on it. The idiot.

If your going to argue Hitler Was n ot an idiot we can examine the facts: sure enough, Hitler ordered Blitzkrieg to take place. However, blitzkrieg as a tactic of the german army had been developed by other competent tacticians either during the inter-war period or the first world war (i cant exactly remeber im afraid). Thus Hitlers one great decision as a tactician was not exactly developed by him or even his generals. From then on, his tactical decision went from bad to worse, often overruling vaery competent generals. Amongst his many terrible decisions is that of invading the USSR, while at the same time attempting to defeat Great Britain and carry out his extermination plan.

Maybe his last good decision was to commit suicide.

invasion of the U.S.S.R was by history hitlers biggest mistake
lost in his insanity he forgot what had happend to napoleans soliders only a few hundred years earlier
hitler could ahve avoided losing his war on the eastern front if he would have winterized his army

Heinz gudarin came up with blitskrege, hitler belived in it but had more part in developing it. As a matter of fact hitler was extremly incompertent millatarlly (The halt of the advance on dunkirk,not giving winter supplys to his men in 41,not allowing the 6th army to break out of stalingrad when it had time, putting back operathion citadell to give time for the tiger and panther tanks to be produced ect)
