i havent seen the video, but i like rammstein.. eventhough their music is too simple and they seem talentless. but theyre kool to headbang to and stuff like that.

The live one with the dildo squirting out a liquid right? I really like the older Rammstein..very porno inspired in a way and very tight sounding...Im not too fond of Rosenrot.

The liquid is just some kind of French wine, they've done it live in a few of their shows. Rammstein are a great band, though I agree with Fernando, their old stuff is way better.
Though Mann Gegen Mann on the new album Rosenrot is pretty awesome.

Amerika is a great critique of the US foreign policies. Personally I perhaps like Du Riechst So Gut or Moskau best, although Rammstein have a lot of awesome songs. I speak a little german, but for the ones who don't: translations of their lyrics can be found on http://herzeleid.com/

Apparently the liquid is french liquer, very expensive, but yeah i was talking about the live version of it

Rammstein is the first heavy band I got into (back in 1998...I didn't really start getting heavily into metal until 6 years later) and Mutter is by far their best album.

I like most everything they've done before and after though.

It's amazing; I'm not into metal, yet I've been fond of them ever since I first heard them. There must be something magic about them. Mutter and Herzeleid best albums, Sonne best song IMO ;)

I wub Rammstein... They're among the first metal-ish bands I ever liked so they have a special place in my heart. Rosenrot is quite meh, although I really liked Reise Reise, and a few songs off Rosenrot (Mann Gegen Mann, Rosenrot and Zerstoren) are fantastic.

About the videos/live performances, you have to keep your sense of humour at hand when you're watching them. :P Either that or you just ogle Richa... I mean... *hides*

Interesting fact:

Following the Columbine massacre, the American establishment, especially religious extremists, tried to paint Rammstein as Nazis by taking Sestrenka, a song from Russian pop band Lube, retitling it Juden Hasst (Hatred of Jews), and claiming it as a Rammstein song...Ironically, it is pretty good song that I think is about some guy's sister, and I occasionally listen to Lube even though I know nothing about them.

If you guys like them, check out a band called 'Laibach' and then 'Hanzel Und Gretyl' also of note, both the bands I just suggested use fascist stuff in their band.music, but take it as a joke.

I really like their music. As far as I am concerned, they are one of the few metal bands around today that don't make horrible music. Mutter and Reise, Reise are my favorite albums.

What do you have against Mutter? It's innovative, it's powerful, it's over the top, and it's not afraid to fuck around. What more do you want from Rammstein?

That being said, fascism is never a joke unless you're extremely obviously in parodying or you're using it to infiltrate a far-right site.

MUTTER IS THEIR BEST ALBUM!

I love Rammstein, though I have to agree that Rosenrot was Meh. All their early albums rock. They used to be my favourite band, I still like them but I've moved on. not that they're a bad band, just I've expanded my music tastes.

Yes and I love their music videos... very unique, very bizarre.... you guys seen the videos for Du riechst so gut (the one with them being werewolves, not the lame one with the flower) and Links 2,3,4 (with the ants)? and the one for Sonne (Snow White and the seven- uh six dwarves),. great band, unique band, and amazing music videos.

And I love how they make fun of the rightwing... yeah at times you might think that they're fascists, when actually they are making fun of it... or just using it to provoke like so many of the alternative bands of the 90s did.

Anyways rammstein rock. over and out.

I discovered Rammstein a while ago and then for some reason forgot about them, and have recently re-discovered them. They are fucking excellent in my opinion. Feuer Frei and Du Hast have to be my favourites, with Ich Will and Engel as close seconds.

Just out of curiosity, what do Rammstein fans think of Machinehead?

I love Rammstein, and especially Rosenrot, the last album is the best yet (in my opinion ;) ) I love the Amerika video, it's one of the best musical insults EVER!!! :) Also, you should check out Benzin, i think it's also an anti-Bush song Benzin means petrol for those who don't know.

Here's my favourite extract:

It's really not that 'inovative' as I have said before, Rammstein is pretty much a rip off of Laibach.

The whole poin otf the Fascist images in HuG and Laibach is to parody the real thing....

Lest most can't comprehend such black humor.

Nieren means kidneys.



I like Rammstein - don't have their Rosenrot album but from what I've heard of it, it sounds really good. Their videos are sometimes a little strange though. Feuer Frei is my favourite song. :)
