I'm listening to the news. America has decided to skip the UN ["veto the French Veto"] and will give an ultimatun tonight. "The time for diplomacy has past" Collon powell just now. Guys. Here it comes.

Methinks he expects Saddam or his army to surrender as soon as they prance in. Methinks that will not be the case.

They have urged Saddam to levae within 72 hours. (maybe less) We will have to listen what the chimpazee says tonight at 8PM (at leats my time)

I think Saddam went on Iraqi TV or radio and said that all his men were going to fight to the last, so I doubt he would leave himself. This war is shit.

Saddam has said many times that he will no go into exile. He said that he will remain until he is dead. Which will very likely happen.

it must have been a really hard decision. lok at it from the other point of view, france said it would veto ANY resolution that gave saddam an ultimatum. since whenhas france been best buddies with saddam. do they want to keep going for another 12 years with another 18 chances. despite your stance on the war you have to admit that france is being a bit crazy here
