Tile & Dry Wall

Hello, I need to put in tile, i'm not sure how much it will cost--probably a fortune, and the walls in my house are dry wall--some fat kid ran into one... so um anyways anyone got any tips?

Watch home improvement shows. No joke TLC or the DIY channel or somethin like that, they do stuff like that pretty regularly, cover technique and cheap shortcuts that won't do you any damage. find some friends not affraid to get their hands dirty, and rent cutting equiptment and do all you're cutting right the first time, so you don't have to pay for multiple days.
