What governmental theory would work best: Communism, Anarchism, Socialism, Libertarianism, etc. Why?

I like Communism and Libertarianism the most, because they support members of the society the best; economically and socially.

What do you think?

trotskyism. he noticed that after lenin died, the party had no intention of cutting the reins which tie the people to masters. the left opposition was the only group with influence to get rid of bureaucracy and the kulak exploitation. believe me, i live in a very bureaucratic residence, so much so that it could feature in an orwell novel. it is obvious that bureaucracy is a plot to keep people in the dark

Theres a little problem with your list. First of all anarchism is just a way to obtain communism, a somewhat "instant" transistion without a state. Secondly what do you mean by libertarianism? Libertarianism as in the theory that government should be limited to a few vital processes and should get its nose out of the capitalist market? Because you can add communism to that theory since its capitalist.

If you are referring to libertarianism as more of "self rule" or less or no hierarchy, than thats anarchism. Anarchism is also known as libertarian communism or libertarian socialism. However, not all libertarian commies/socialists are anarchists.

I have no real defined ideology. I suppose I am a libertarian socialist. I take certain inspirations from Marxism, Maoism, anarcho-syndicalism, and anarcho-communism. I'm kind of a fucked up individual.

As for my quotes, they are only examples; make what you want out of them. I really want to know what you guys think; I don't want to tell you too much about what I think; that's really unimportant.

Secondly what do you mean by libertarianism? Libertarianism as in the theory that government should be limited to a few vital processes and should get its nose out of the capitalist market?

This is what I mean by Libertarianism:

“Libertarianism is a political philosophy[1] advocating the right of individuals to be free to do whatever they wish with their persons or property as long as they allow others the same liberty, by not initiating physical force, the threat of it, or fraud against others.”

Because you can add communism to that theory since its capitalist.

I have no idea what you are saying with this remark.

If you are referring to libertarianism as more of "self rule" or less or no hierarchy, than thats anarchism.

Actually, ther's a diference; Anarchism is the philosophy of no government, while libetarianism is the philosophy of limited government.

Anarchism is also known as libertarian communism or libertarian socialism. However, not all libertarian commies/socialists are anarchists.

You're preeching to the choir (in a non-religious sense).

I don't like broad ideological labels, and don't apply any to myself. There are some strategies (esp. sectarianism and opportunism) I oppose for historical and practical, rather than ideological, reasons. Hardened leftist ideologues are no different in form from religious fundamentalists. The optimal society must be based on open discussion and democratic exchange of ideas, not minuscule, clandestine, cultlike cadre groups that require members' lives to be completely dedicated to the party and its flawless leader.

Communism and Anarchism are not "governmental theories", they are anti-governmental theories, whatever you mean by that (it doesn't really matter since government pre-supposes a state).

Between Socialism and Libertarianism I would of course say Socialism, simply because it's the next phase in the development of human society.

I suppose I am a libertarian Marxist. I am also influenced by some of the ideology of anarcho-syndicalism, anarcho-communism, Libertarian socialism, Eco anarchism, and autonomist Marxism

[FONT=Impact][COLOR=red] First off I would like to say salutations from Florida, comrades! This is my firts post and I'm a new, and proud member of the Revoltionary Left.

This is an interesting question, no doubt. I am a subscriber to Communism. I belong to the The Progressive Labor Party. I believe in the principles and foundations of Communism, but I realize that we will all have to work hand-in-hand to overthrow our Capitalist, Fascist opressors. I believe the best way to achieve a truely classless, moneyless, people-owned means of production society is a true Communist Revolution and Rebellion. Armed and ready to smash the Capitaist pigs. I beleive that Communism is the best vehicle to achieve those goals and various other goals of thePLP.I don't believe in the dictatorship of the proletariat. I beleive that Socialism is a one way ticket back to Capitalism. State Capitalism and State Socialism simply make the government beauracracy one big Capitalist.I believe the same as Anarchists, the state and subsequent forms of hierarchy must be abolished if we are to achieve true equality and classlessness, then and only then can true Communism can be achieved. I realize that there are many differences between us, we all bring our own unique contribution to the table. It won't be easy, but if we work as a united front for the abolition of the state(as we know it today), then we can achieve our goals! After all the majority of us want the same thing in the end. :D

If you were referring to whats the best tranistion, libertarianism is not a tranistion to communism, its a capitalist theory. But if you werent talking about transition then nevermind.

Actually, ther's a diference; Anarchism is the philosophy of no government, while libetarianism is the philosophy of limited government.

The capitalist theory of libertarianism came after the originial use of the word libertarianism. Guess who used the word first, an anarchist.

Yes, they are. They both outline the responsibillity of governance in a society. Communism and Anarchism are both theories proposing the end of government, thusly, it's about government.

Between Socialism and Libertarianism I would of course say Socialism, simply because it's the next phase in the development of human society.

Please, explain.
