Am i the only one who finds the muslim reaction the these Muhamid cartoons a little bit foolish.
If you're angry about the west portraying you as terrorists DON'T go and commit terrorist acts.
I am the only one who thinks this?

Are you 11 or something?
Not all muslims commit terrorist acts, only a tiny minority.
More Christians commit terrorist acts than muslims (imperialism).

no, i don't think you're the only one. i dont really think its hypocrisy though, just stupidity and anger. they're making lives so much more dangerous for other muslims around the world who aren't violent and aren't going around burning things and rioting, particularly women who wear scarves in western countries.
i don't think they're really thinking in those terms though. its a way to vent, basically. a stupid way, but a way nonetheless. many other muslims i've talked to have been writing letters but i spose thats not mediaworth enough.

Well if you think about it, they live in countries were they have a very high percent of muslim people, so there not exposed to cirtisies of there religion, unlike christans. So there anger is somewhat justifed but I think the reactions over the top.

The anger is being fanned by various reactionary Arab governments to try and take heat off their own administrations and keep it focused elsewhere. They've been doing things like this for some time.

That would be a rational response, yes, but clearly these people are not thinking rationaly.
Rather they are reaction emotionally to the "blasephemy" and "desecration" of their "faith" by "driving out the infidels".
It isn't a particularly productive response, but it certainly is in the interest of those groups who are perpetuating this "outrage".
The more that people feel that their "faith" is "under attack", the more supportive they will be of organizations that perport to "defend" it. Likewise, the more attention is focused on the "racism" and "blaspehmy" of the "west", the less Muslim populations will notice the local abuses of their corrupt and oppressive governments.
Isn't it amazing? One hundred and fifty years later and religion is still the opiate of the masses!
