Looking for news on how badly the war in Iraq is going for the US, from an Arab point of view?
Visit Albasrah.net (http://Albasrah.net)!!

It is a great website, linking to hundreds of news sites to give the viewer a full picture of the US war of aggression in Iraq. From mass-graves of dead US soldiers buried by the US to hide casualty figures, to a daily update of marines killed and massacres of civilians, Albasrah is the best for finding out the facts needed to win arguments against all those branwashed people in the street who say "The Iraq people are happy! We have brought them democracy!" when you're selling Socialist Worker, Green left Weekly, Revolution, The Guardian or whatever.

That is an interesting site...it's actually best for answering the rose-colored glasses people to claim the "Iraqi resistance" has nothing to do with Ba'athism.

Because its "Iraqi Resistance Report" is frankly Ba'athist and pro-old regime.

I wouldn't trust that site for facts, though, no more than I'd trust the old regime's Information Ministry. Useful links, maybe some of them.

You're Australian, I can tell

This site is obviously going to present its own perspective, but some of the things on it are very clearly fake, the corpses of the 'GIs' for one.

It's a great site for pictures, and the news articles (not so much the resistance facts) are a good source of information.
