IRTR is not "new" -- it has been up for over half a year. It is also one of the best forums out there in terms of quantity and quality posts.
Hey, thanks for the plug. But the top link doesn't work. The place to discuss IRTR is on the irtr.org forum, not at rev-left. If people want to comment on those threads or others, they should come to irtr.org and do so. If you think irtr.org is "crazy," then why not state your case at irtr.org? Why try to start some kind of flame war over on rev-left?
The main home page is irtr.org .. there is a wider selection of sample threads on the home page.
IRTR does have rules on IRTR that people who drop in should be aware of. The rules are much stricter than other forums in terms of security, opposing chauvinism, sexism, and so on.
Also, if people are interested, we are opening a People's University on the 10th of Feb which will begin an indepth study of Capital. Also, IRTR is putting up one year or more of Peking Review with commentary from the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution by the 1st of March. Eventually, we will put up even more Peking Review spanning the entire GPCR.

Regardless of your intentions, this kind of thread will only lead to a bunch of superficial comments -- and if you want to discuss IRTR's line in an indepth way, then you should go there and do so. Since this kind of thread is not going to lead to any real political discussion, what you are probably looking for is superficial confirmation of your own outlook. Why do you need the superficial opinions of others to decide whether or not Maoism is correct? You should support Maoism and IRTR or not support it based on science, not a bunch of one-line zingers that this kind of thread typically produces.
I'll save everyone some time here and just say that I have no doubt that the majority of persyns on Rev-Left would not agree and be downright hostile to IRTR. Does this satisfy you?
Those who want to discuss IRTR's politics in an indepth way should go to IRTR.
Edit: spelling error

Christ. First post in a year and a half. Hail my return. Rot front.
The Maoists seem to be better biologists than communists. :)
Page from the Revolutionary Communist Party in America;

It's better than most of their stuff.

Just to avoid confusion. The above link from the Avakianists has nothing to do with IRTR. IRTR's view of the Avakianists can be found throughout IRTR, but mostly in the Marxist economics section.

More pig identity baiting from a certain unprincipled direction. Maoists are all Black. Maoists are all prisoners. Maoists are all intellectuals and students. Maoists are all white. Blah Blah Blah. Now, according to the above unprincipled post, Maoists are all yuppies! Wow, that's a new one.
Typical.

Its kind of sad actually, some times people tend to think Mao had foolish ideas like, MIM just because they call themselves Mao’s followers.

MIM is NOT a Maoist organization. It's ideology is Third World Theory, which the Communist Party of China held for less than a year, and then rejected at its congress.
MIM's ideology greatly differs from the of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA, and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist).
you should check out, the RCP's website, here (http://revcom.us), which is pretty good.
