This page makes available some of the original writings of the Black Panther Party from its first three years of existence (1966-1969) when it grew to be an explosive power and the predominant influence in the Black nation. These articles dispell a number of myths about the Black Panthers currently circulated by opportunists, lecture-circuit parasites and wannabe Hollywood directors.

Wow, this looks like a great primary source. I think I may have to write an essay on the Panthes in the near futuer and this will be a big help. Thanks to who ever put it together!

That is useful.

It'd be even more useful if there was some stuff from '66 and '67; MIM seems to prefer the BPP of '68 and '69. By the end of that time the BPP was starting to degenerate and disintegrte politicallly, as you can see from articles like "The Boston Purge" on that site.

I love reading the articles from BPP. I think certain articles should be read by all communist parties to help better understand the national liberation of oppressed minorities.
