Here is a passage from a BBC News article, link to article also provided below:
In other developments:
The US military says it is testing a massive 21,000 pound bomb - known as the MOAB: Massive Ordnance Air Burst or, unofficially, the Mother Of All Bombs - which may be used in any conflict with Iraq

Not knowing anything to speak of about the bomb mentioned in the BBC article, I decided to do a look up on that specifically. The following is a bit of what an ABC article that I found says. Link to that article also follows:
Sources say MOAB - still experimental - is a 21,000-pound bomb that will be pushed out the back of a C-130 transport and guided by satellite. Because it is not dropped by parachute, as was the old Daisy Cutter, the aircraft can let it go from far higher altitudes, making it safer for U.S. pilots.
The MOAB's massive explosive punch, sources say, is similar to a small nuclear weapon.

While this ABC article states that this "weapon of mass destruction" - the MOAB bomb would be used far from cities where civilians might be hurt, it also states that this bomb is similar to a small nuclear weapon.
Has the US learned nothing from past mistakes? It seems as though this country insists on committing the same mistakes, and potentially committing the same types of crimes against humanity time and time again. To even have such a weapon is a travesty and also extremely hypocritical under the circumstances.
