Hey everybody! I'm new to the site, I just recently found this through Che-Lives.com. I decided to start posting here because the other discussion boards I post to are often full of right-wingers, and I think I'd just find it more enjoyable to debate or discuss with people on the same side of the spectrum as me.
I am a Socialist, 23 year old American college student, I study History. I'm kinda new to the radical leftist crowd, but in the past few years my politics took a radical hard left turn, so I want to spend more time around such folks, for the sake of community and personal education. So... hi! :)

I have never found a board with both intellegent, and computer literate moderators. You will find yourself at home here, I certainly have.
I agree that most boards are being patroled by Right Wing Inc, and Christianity Inc. Hell, most of the political discussion boards have at least five thousand posts atesting to how Bush is the Jesus incarnate, or America is the only real country, etc etc etc.
This American likes not to think of himself as an American, but as a Human.

Thanks for the warm welcome, good to be here. :)
I must say that I actually have not encountered many Biblethumpers or Bush supporters on the boards I post, rather many of them have been staunch opponents of both. I don't tend to mind Christians except for the Religious Right, since the latter do so much to advance the cause of colonialism worldwide. Rather, most of the people who have cause me to come here are just outright secular capitalists, or worse, Libertarians, the conservatives who wear leftist clothing.

Welcome, comrade!
Nice description of Libertarians
And as to your lack of hard-right forums, feast your eyes on the travesty: http://nopc.antares-dev.com/yabbse/index.php?
I am a 16 year old high school student living in Maine, US of A. Like Zero, I shy away from my nationality, I prefer to be known as a human :) .
Enjoy your stay!

Hello all,
I am David Benfell. I am a graduate student in communication at California State University, East Bay, in Hayward. In the course of my college studies, I have been compelled ever farther to the left. I am in the extreme left-libertarian corner on the political compass test but I haven't figured out how to bust that scale, yet. I consider myself an anarchist.
I teach public speaking, a required class. I emphasize civic engagement and seek to inform my students on how the primary and secondary educational system has disempowered them. So far, my contract has been renewed every quarter.
I presently live in the Santa Cruz Mountains, but am burning too much gas getting back and forth to school, so I'm looking for a change to another rural location.
