i was wondering if there were any socialist movements in the houston area. i have already contacted the slp but they havent had a meeting in about a year, i want to join a party and get involved im tired of sitting here idly. are there any good youth organizations that i can become a part of in the u.s? well please give me some advice , thanks

Im sure you've already checked, but just in case you missed it; have a look at the political organisations thread, for people who want to join up and get involved...

You can check it out here (http://www.revolutionaryleft.com/index.php?showtopic=31615) It includes North America, so follow up the groups you like the sound of, and ask them if you can get involved locally.

Most of those branches have a weekly public meeting. None in Michigan, sorry.
