although this probably 1/2 a year late, here it is none-the-less.

Whenever i read the paper or watch the news and there is somthing in there about the gaza pullout or such, there are emotionely heart-rending stories about the "peace loving settlars being forcefully removed from there homes" (never mind that many of these people carry around fully automatic weapons or that this happens on a daily basis to hundreds of palistinians). however one fact that these news agencies never mention is that these settelars are living there in violation of international law, specifficlly the fourth geneva convention, which forbids the transportation of the native country into the occupied territories (namely the gaza and the west bank).

So there is no room for intrepertation or argumentation, is is flately that, the settlement are illegal.

I shall end with a quote:
"when we are killed, it is a story, when they are killed it is a statistic"

Yes, Israeli settlements are bad. Nobody feels bad that they got kicked out. Is that it?

I don't think anybody with even a slight grasp of international law will argue that the settlements are not illegal.

They quite clearly are illegal, and are an obstacle to any possibility of a true peace.
