Jesus was a socialist and so was Che, so they have a lot in common. I think Jesus followers actually worship the apostle Paul more than Jesus. Indeed, most of Christianity could be called Paulianity because it is rooted in more what Paul said.

che didnt care much for jesus...but listen..its stupid extremist christians that cause killings and assanation attempts. just like how u can have a muslim who is pro peace u can have a radical who is'nt. i feel like an iraqi child..i have no say in anything. people who are the same ethnic race as me are considered the same as me no matter what. say if i were a muslim and my neighbor was a muslim as well and my neighbor did somthing to the buddhists..a lot of buddhists will say.."hey those muslims are assholes" when in turn i did nothing. just because my president has a similar religion as me doesn't make me evil. i do believe in a god. but i also believe in the proletariat. i feel the workers will create a great life on this world and god will take care of us in another world.

Yeah I saw those as well and graffitied over a couple, as I felt very annoyed.

Quite sad though that they have to relate to that kind of thing to get people into a church.

That is just awful. I wouldn't do that because it is insulting to the memory of Che as well as to Jesus. But hey, capitalists can do that and even worse.

On a side note, in the website www.marxists.org (http://www.marxists.org), it is argued that the first ideas for an socialist society came from a Catholic saint called Thomas More. His book is called "Utopia". Very interesting book about the perfect society. He is refered to as one of the fathers of "Utopian Socialism".

They certainly don't worship Paul more than Jesus.
And Christianity could not be called 'Paulianity' because a)It sounds even more ridiculous and b)Paul wrote about Jesus, he was the guy who created the main cult following of Jesus, he didn't write about himself, though his writings clearly show the influence of his strict Jewish upbringing.

" it showed the baby jesus as che.i not only found this corny and crass, but also insulting considerig what christians have done to our comrades"

On that note, I find your avatar offensive because it has Che with Mickey Mouse ears. Mickey Mouse is a symbol of cultural imperialism, not to mention the fact that Walt Disney was a staunch fascist and sympathiser of the American Nazi Party.

Well you know Adam Smith was really a socialist at heart too, so have all the popes, Rockefeller, Carnegie, they just felt being reactionary bastards was they way to obtain it.
