I spent the Semester Break in Romania, and I am very annoyed at how the eastern Europeans are still infiltrated by anti-Communist dogma. The so-called Communist regimes in Eastern Europe were brutal, and so they all think that communism and socialism means all poverty and bureaucracy and no freedom, and they hate it. In Hungary for example they wantt o make the hammer and sickle illegal.

How do we get these people, who really are good people, just a lot of them misinformed, to know that there has never been a communist country, and that Communist country is an oxymoron?

In Romania they embrace American capitalism so much it sickens me. Anything with an American brand name makes you cool.

Anyway my question is, how do we go about convincing the people who have lived under "communism" to embrace real communism?

Like all problems with indoctrination, it can only be solved by education. Luckily for the world's communists, as the United States continues to fuck things up, the world will seek to emulate it less and less.

I come from Romania's neighbourhood and the sad fact is that every contrey which had communism was destroyed in one or another way. There's no way that someone will say:"that's good" when it made a lot of contreys on Balkan separated and poor.
I always ask from which contrey you are because that's very important. It's important because you need to open your eyes and see the truth when it's talking very open about "communism" subject where communism really exsisted.
You have to listen all people and what they have to say about that because it's not true that 90% of people tell lies.
About that favouritasing of american capitalism-it depends with who are you talking and about what.
I am for communism, but for one that won't ever exist unfortunately: with good leader, who won't turn later into selfish or cruel;with everything in system that will go just like it's supposed to go,I'm for perfectionism to make it short. That's why real communism doesn't exsist.
