They're called member titles, you can change them if you want in your profile.

They aren't a rating,they change with teh number of your posts or you can tell someone who's responsible to change it.Companiero means just "comrade"or better,someone who accompanies you,it is a word in the spanish language.

My Controls(at the top of the page)->Edit Profile Info(at left side)->Custom Member Title

Enter what you want your name to be in there.
