Hello I am Russian communist living in Australia. I was born in the U.S.S.R and lived there for 4 years before immigrating here due to the break up of it. I am a patriot, but despise my country at this time.

My grammer may not be that good. <_<

I have several friends who are interested in the idea of communism, but they unfortuantely don't want to take it any further. My other asian friends just refer to me as a "Fucking commie" or "Fucking Russian" nice friends huh? :P

I like this site very much and enjoy reading all the post and the several debates that go on.

Can you guys tell me where abouts you guys come from? So far I have gathered that most of you guys are American.

Nice to meet you all. :D

Welcome tavaritch ! (Hope it's spelled something like that with the western alphabet)

There are many americans but all continents are represented I think. I'm born of finnish
parents, in Sweden, myself.

I too browsed the board for a while before I started participating in the debates here recently. Have fun and see you around!

tovarisch?

i am also from australia. what state/city are you living in.

do you support the 'communist state' of russia and the rest of the union, or do you believe they were merely state capitalist?

Thank You The Sentinel. Yes you got it pretty right, but I guess you could say tovarish. Sounds right both ways. :)

NSW, Sydney. Almost near Cronulla.

Now I believe they were state capitalist, althought before I visited this site I always saw U.S.S.R as a total communist country. Proves how wrong I can be ;) Also I use to see N.Korea as a communist country. I was totally wrong I guess.

I have to admit that in the times when it was the U.S.S.R it was much better and peaceful than it is now. All people of all kinds were respected by most Russian citizens. Education was also heaps better. I totally disagree with the Afghanistan invasion. It was a very stupid political thing to do.

These days there is a lot of organized crime and racism. A lot of Fascist groups are forming. Army is compulsory. 2 year service. Unless you can either lie or buy your way into University.

These aren't happy times for my family living back there, but I consider them very lucky compared to other people around the world in war ravaged countries. I consider myself to be the luckiest person alive and I want to do everything to improve the world and enforce the communist ideology.

Welcome Comrade.

I'm from New York so I guess that makes me an American. ;)

Was life in the USSR oppressive in your opinion? I'm just curious. I don't know too many people from Russia except for a co-worker (but he doesn't speak English!)

I'm an anarchist and believe that all governments are corrupt. Capitalism is a disaster for people and breeds all sorts of social ills. It's very hard to live within the constraints of a society built on capitalism and an imperialistic government but there are a lot of people in America that want to change that.

Anyway, I think you will learn a lot here and meet some interesting people.

Life in the U.S.S.R was better than it is today definitely. These days the government in Russia is corrupt and have their own little crime syndicate.

Nevertheless, welcome.

I suppose that you would like to tell, that as an American you are ashamed of the imperialistic policy of your country, aren't you?

I do not accept the capitalist mode which has been established in my country, I did not accept some things at the Soviet regime, but I always liked my country and I like now because my country is, firstly, the Russian people which in majority are good, fair, hardworking, talented people. Secondly, there is a great cultural layer created by this people and which make a nation.

what russian people think about comrade stalin?

Some people love him, some people hate him. It varies, but no one ever forgot about what he did. He was a dictator and didn't really do much to improve life in S.U. I'm guessing that most people hate him.

Hm... why are you not Australian communist who have an Russian origin?

Either way works for me. :)

What country are you a patriot of? Australia or Russia? And what a ** patriot you are who despise your own country?

I am a patriot of Russia. I didn't mean that I despise my country. My mistake. I meant that I hate the current government and the way it's being run. I repeat that it was much better in the Soviet times. People were much smarter and well looked after. Today everything is westerniszed and teenagers want to look 'hip' and cool. Most people there only care about money and not helping a fellow Russian. There is a small majorty of hard-working, fair people left. The only people that will tell you that life in Russia is good these days are rich pigs who cheat in life and get what they want. No one cares about the poor and a small part of my family is poor, that's why I believe in communism and want to improve the life of many people around the world and not just in Russia.

...but I always liked my country and I like now because my country is, firstly, the Russian people which in majority are good, fair, hardworking, talented people. Secondly, there is a great cultural layer created by this people and which make a nation.

That is true, but you have to admit that these people are dying out and being replaced by lazy rich pricks who probably aren't smart enough to string two words together. Culture is dying out fast.

Australia is a great country to live in despite the John Howard government. I would suggest moving here if you have the chance. :)
There are hardly any fascist scum here. I haven't seen one for as long as I've lived here. It is peaceful and the people are friendly.

Thank you comrade Mao for the warm welcome and I hope as much as you do that things will change for the best.

Thank you comrade Tormented by Treachery.

Thank you comrade sanpal and I hope that I answered your questions.

Thank you comrade Koruptah, so far I have learnt a LOT of new things.

You sure are lucky to have never seen a fascist bloke in Downunder... In Italy every schoolclass has it's fascist idiot that praises Mussolini and "the noble cause" of his blunderous campaigns on Hitler's side, in Russia too!(Soldiers in the Italian army often wore shoes made out of cardboard boxes) Most of them are bored and ignorant sons of rich parents. So I wouldn't worry about them too much (except that maybe one day they will have their parent's fortune behind their "ideals"... :( )

Welcome to all Comrades of various countries, states, etc....

I am an anarchist of European Descent, born in America and living in New York. I think if people stop identifying themselves with their country (no one has a choice where they are born) it would be a better world.

I didn't realize how much America is hated until I got on this forum. But don't worry- bin Laden said we are going to be attacked again soon so everyone can have a party!

Seriously though, I don't think Che and Castro hated their countries. They loved their countries. That's why they fought for a revolution.

I've seen all these movies with nazi worshippers in them and it looks funny. They're all like "WHITE POWER" blah blah blah blah blah. Their belief is pretty lame and bullshit.

Welcome comrade,

I also live in Sydney. You might be interested to know that Australia has something of a history of Russian commmunists living here. In the lead up to the Russion Revolution there was a large and political russian emigre population in Brisbane, although it's make-up changed considerably after the revolution triumphed. Kerensky actually moved there when he fled Russia, before leaving for the US. If you want more info there's a good pamphlet available at: http://www.resistancebooks.com/catalog/pro...&products_id=36 (http://www.resistancebooks.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=36)

If you are interested in getting in touch with fellow socialist and comunists, here are the details for several organisations in Oz:

Green Left Weekly- Australia's leading left-wing newspaper

Socialist Alliance- left regroupment project containing about a dozen organisations and hundreds of non-aligned members

Some Of The Groups In The Socialist Alliance:

Socialist youth organisation Resistance

Democratic Socialist Perspective- Revoutionary Leninists

International Socialist Organisation- IST Trotskyists

Freedom Socialist Party- feminist-socialist outfit

Groups Not In The Socialist Alliance:

By the sound of things it seems that fascists are everywhere.

In Italy, kind of. There was no Nurnberg court to judge the fascists and their crimes in Italy. They all bloody got a fucking general amnesty, the bastards. All thanks to those shitty Christian Democrats. People had their revenge over one another, and in post-fascist Italy tens of thousands of people died because of that... I myself was beaten up by fascists.
But guess what? I HAD MY REVENGE!!! THEY CAN ALL BEAT THE RATS!!!!!!

I am an American anarchist and not a communist so I may not even belong on this site anymore. I think all forms of government are corrupt because they are about power, mind control and money-even the old USSR. The government lived in revelent opulance compared to the people of Russia and this is the way of all governments. So, welcome to the board and I don't think friends name-call other friends.

Your english is very good- better than most Americans!
