A greek student in UK arrested and is going to trial as terrorist suspect and/or lover.
His crimes?
He has books, newspapers and posters about a terrorist group (in destruction right now) in his
county since he was doing a scientific research
about them.
AND he has the wrong idea to share his opinions
with all of us (under password) in this forum.
BIG BROTHER NEVER SLEEPS. Be aware...

Lets start a petition. Get the world thinking a bit before we throw down the hammer and revolt.

Can you give us some links on this story? I think, from what you say, that it deserves to be publicized widely.

bIG bROTHER...Fuck him!!!

In Russia you could support almost every(terrorist or other) group only if it is not:
1) Chechen separatists!
2) National bolshevicks of Limonov!

Second group is working now but it is hidden!!!

Damn – this guy was ARRESTED and is in JAIL now for nothing!?!?!

WTF!!!! I am extremely upset to hear about this.

And also on that note – let me tell you all some shit, which is somewhat minor compared to the plight of our Greek bother, but …… a friend of mine had her yahoo email account disabled 2 weeks ago for her political views. The emailsthat I was sending her kept coming back undelivered, and after she got it straight – this is what she told me:

Oh and in case you're wondering about why my email account went awry... well, it mysteriously was deactivated. When I tried to find out why, I was told that some form of 'abuse' had caused the deactivation. That sparked my interest because although I am a political activist of sorts, I am not the kind of person to ever advocate violence, so everything I have said falls into the realm of free speech that does not harm. I decided (being naive) that someone must have hacked into my account and committed some form of abuse. After two weeks of trying to get an answer out of Yahoo, I finally talked to someone on the phone who said that my account de-activation was likely due to my political views. I called back later and asked for that explanation in writing (good to have proof) and they told me they would send me notification of what happened within 24 hours. Then my account was reactivated and the note said that it was a "technical glitch." Technical glitch is a far cry from the problem being soured in my political views!!!

*** End of what my friend said

This is not something to be taken lightly. WE ARE In FACT being monitored online – no lie. I imagine it will only be a matter of time before many of us (including myself) have knocks on our doors for being subversive against the government of the United States.

But still – this thing with this Greek guy makes me damn mad. Please give us more details about this guy and his situation. There MUST be SOMETHING we can collectively do to fight for his rights. I am specifically asking my British brothers to give us some insight as to what the deal is and what we can do to help!!! Por Favor – Please.

My personal email addy is: [email protected]

I will personally try to rally support here in Chicago – if you can give some direction along those lines.

it wa just a tech error, imo, ChiTown.

(the Greek government is just doing that to make a statement; don't spy on us(NATO).. he will be free in a couple of month for sure.)

Don't those bastards have bigger fish to fry rather than going after people like us? Apparently they have too much time on their hands. I guess it's too far fetched to think they might go help someone, instead of going and arresting someone.

Well, if George Orwell is right, then we must fight now...the later, the harder it'll be...

With the new Homeland Security (Big Brother, Gestapo) in the U$ we can be monitored for any fucking reason...i hate the way this world has become, it has to change....we have to change it!

It's scary enough seeing how easy it has been for Bush to install all these homeland security policies, limiting freedoms. Even scarier however, is that many people seem to be too ignorant to realize how terrible of a thing this is.
