This has probably been mentioned before, but I would like to know what would happen to society under communism in the following areas:

Products - obviously all business would be de-privatised and given to the people, but what would happen to it? Would a vast majority of it be shut down as it has no real benefit other than entertainment (e.g. movie making, junk food, other culturally significant products)

Music/Sport - would there still be musicians/sportsmen? This may sound stupid, but if there was a communist society in place, would there be room for leisurely employment, or would it be kept as just a hobby/non-communal activity?

Education - whilst this would obviously be dramatically altered, i.e. great changes would need to take place in order to remove bias/hierarchy, how would it be decided what to teach? For example, there are obviously some subject that would be rendered redundant, such as economics/business studies, but would english/music lessons continue so as to encourage creativity, or would they be cut back in favour of subjects more beneficial to society in general?

Jobs - obviously there would be no worry of salaries and such, but who would decide who got what jobs if there was absolutely no vanguard in place? As obviously some jobs would be more popular than others right?

As you can see, Im still unsure about the fine details, so if you could help me that would be great! Thanks.

I don't know what your post has to do with culture? Commies would make them die out along with all religions. Everything would be uniformed. Everyone would wear the same clothes and forbidden to ask what their herritage was.

Products made in capitalist society don't reflect culture. However, capitalism has a hand in the crations of pop cultures which may be more dangerous than religion because it grabs the attention of the young and old.

In a socialist reconstructed society people will have more time for play, leisure and pursuit of spiritual fulfillments without commie thought police. Work would be different since what is produced would meet societal needs. Sure, guitars, pianos, drums, saxaphones, etc, will still be made because they will always serve a function.

Not much would be altered in education. Math, science, and history will still be taught. Electronics, electricty, refrigeration, masonry, welding, etc will still be taught.

Who in the hell told you that someone will decide who will work and where? When capitalism ends more people will work because of shorter hours. I hope that Time Labor Vouchers will replace money which means that those jobs that are stressful and even dangerous will get more TLV units than other jobs. :D

Thanks - when I said culture I meant because these issues reflect modern culture in western society, I didn't mean as in different religeons or origins.

Would everyone really need to dress the same though?
