I have been learning about Socialists, and I think my views are more in tune with that. I don't know everything about it, in fact I probably know the least about it. I just want to hear from other members, and hear the thoughts and views, and idealoligies on it.

Could you state some of your beliefs about certain issues [class struggle, elections, ownership of the means of production]? In exchange we could share our beliefs.

I do not wish to speak my opinions yet, seeing as how I know little, but I have read up, but I don't wish to embarass myself. pehaps we can speak later on our thoughts

I think I'm more of a humanist Socialist.. I see some of the kids on here and they're totally fucked in the head for what they believe. I've seen kids on here supporting the Khmer Rouge and North Korea and shit, while I myself tend to lean more towards Cuban socialism or Hugo Chavez somewhat.. Just more liberal and free instead of traditional Stalinist-bullshit.

oh dear.maybe they haven't seen the mass graves of those massacred by the Khmer Rouge. And their incomprehensible decision of moving city dwellers away from their homes to work on the fields. And that Kim Jong Il has chefs to cook good food for him while his people starve(tts true right?)
back to your qn,im starting to lean towards Marxism. But im not really sure though.Im more interested in the theory than classifying myself into which category.

If you're against the right you're a friend. Doesn't matter what you are does it?

Don't worry mate! You have heart, so might as well use the mind as well...I was a dumb bumbling, new, confused leftist when I came here...and now I've become a clear headed Marxist...trial and error....no-one will scorn you.

I am a socialist, in that I do support the idea of the dictatorship of the proletariat, if its use proves practical.
