Did any of you guys see the film DAS BOOT?
What did you think of it?
To those who havnt seen it, its a German subtitled film about the experiences of a U-Boat crew during the 1941 Atlantic campaign. It has been directed by some guy called Wolfgang Peterson I think, and is one of the longest films I have seen - some 200 minutes. Its a true break away from the normal British style WW2 films which show the German Nazi forces as very sterile and cold. Its truly brilliant. :D
