I'm having trouble finding comrades in my area. I do have a pamphlet I am planning to distribute titled, "ATTENTION COMRADE!" and circulation with start soon. Being as idealistic as I am, I want to aid the movement as much as I can. It's just hard to get any people together.

I tried posting on here, but I recieved no word of anything. Being in Virginia, its hard to organize because majority of Virginians are conservative. If there is anyone here, who would like to speak, then I would be happy to talk to you. Mind you questions will be asked as to avoid the whole fascist threat thing. Heh. Neo-Nazis and I have had our little bouts. But I got friends who would die for me (not communism) so I've always been heavily backed. :P

Does anyone have any tips or ideas that would surely win over some people/help me find people in my area?

Thanks!

Do you go to high shool? Maybe you can try and find some like minded people to start a up a smal students group.

Or maybe contact a national organisation and ask for advice and help. There is a list in the political organisations thread (link in my sig). Check some out, find the one you most agree with and try contacting them.

I suggest you try to get in touch with the group ILPS. Here is the link to their website:ILPS (http://www.ilps-news.com/)

A suggestion may be to look on websites of other fundraising groups and stuff. Funding is crucial for credibility. The scouts or active charities would be useful to observe.

As for members, once you have funding then you could get some of your "non communist" friends to start a bit of activism to bring recognition of the group to the local community. I would suggest propaganda such as grafiti on walls and posters in community halls.

I wish you luck in your campaign. Every person converted to the left is one denied to the legions of capitalism.
