the Un millenium development goals have recently been revived and are being brought up for reconsideration. the goals are developed for the aid of sub-saharan africa and have 1-8 magor goals, thse include the elimiation of extreme hunger and poverty (those living under 1$ a day), equality of the genders, developing a global partership and stabalizing the econemy. the goals state that if every country contributed .07% of its income that we could save 40 million people a year by 2015. some aslo say that no one in the US should earn above 40,000$ a year and the remainder should be alloted for those more disadvanteged. However there is the risk of this being called communism, (the ultimate taboo) there are both addvantages to this (namely the saving of lives) and disadvantages (such as overpopulation, nd som e say theat palques are checks and balances to keep the population in line) i am eager to see what the rest of the nationm and others in the world think as it concerns the whole of the planet.

There wouldn't be any positive results. The sub-Saharan African countries just would not be able to survive competition from developed countries. They will not become self sufficant. They will just need more supplies later.

“Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime”

However if you teach him how to fish, it would be like a man with a fishing pole trying to compete against 100 guys with superior fishing equipment.

Basically third world countries can not reach change under capitalism.
