I was curious to all the russian comrades on here, or anyone else who is educated on the matter what is going on in Russia. Is it a likely situation that the communists might return to power? Please help me out and fill me in on the situation or give me good links were i can read more about the political climate in Russia, it would be much appreciated...

Well, the Communist Party is the largest political group in Russia, if that's the kind of information you're looking for. They need motivation. Nobody wants another fascist like Stalin.

Accoring to a Norwegian article I read one, 9 out of 12 russians regrets the counter-revolution, and more than half wants to recreate the Soviet Union.

Sounds promising, but would the capitalist western powers let it happen without a fight?

They lost the fight after the first revolution, and shamefully hid the evidence.
I have heard that in Ukraine and Belarous their are re-unification parties. Is this true?

oh, of course they regret it - the counter revolution opened their land up for multitudes of capitalist infested crime and tyranny. I read somewhere that the average russian deals more with the mafia everyday than they do their own government.

Russian Federation and Belorus want to create economical and political union but this idea is not connected with communist ideology.
Communism is very poular in Russia not only among elder generation, but also among youngsters.
KPRF is the largest party, it has efficient program of taking the country out of crisis. On the last Duma election KPRF received 30% of total votes; on the future election, which will be held at the end of this year party promises to receive 35- 40% of total votes.

Thanks for the info :)
But Russia is not or last hope. The counter-revolution was the bourgeoisie revolution, and now they need their proletariat. The last hope is the US Communist party getting it's act together and toppling that sess pool of reaction! (the government not nec. the people)

I have a feeling that a second revolution - the true socialist revolution - will happen in Russia, and it will be the turning point for all left leaning European boarderline nations.

Socialism...bah!
What a fence sitting type, to liberal to be rightists but to conservative to be leftists, make up your minds and choose a side before you die in a glorious, bloody revolution.

Btw 53% of Russians consider Stalin's policy the correct one and do respect Stalin for his successful efforts of creating a great socialist state.
