I am a fifty year old mother of a teenage son and totally disgusted with the US government/ capitalistic war machine, banks, consumerism, exploitation of women and minorities, and lack of health care- just to name a few things.

The status quo has got to go!

Walmartization of America supports slavery in China!

This 2 party system of political corruption as seen this week in Washington DC with pay-offs to elected "officials" just goes to show how low this government has sunk. Lobbyist taking money from the Native Americans to line their Pig-Pockets!!!

Elitist Liberals and this fake/phony celebrity culture, private jets, entourages, red carpets and deals made at the fancy private golf courses. I'm sick of it all!!!

In the meanwhile, hard working taxpayers like myself have no FUTURE!!!! I can barely pay my padded electric bill with fuel surcharges imposed by the Big Fat Fucking Oil Companies!!!!!

Thanks for letting me vent....

I was a radical when I was in my teens during the Vietnam War. Stayed out of politics for the last 30 years or so because it all seemed so hopeless I'm sorry to say. Now I want to get involved again. I found this site so I am exploring the options.

I believe in freedom and equality and think that capitalism is the cause of most of the misery of the world.

I do not support the Chinese form of "communism" which I believe is capitalism and slavery under an aggressive dictatorship and will become a major threat to peace in the near future.

I don't think a revolution will take place in America, although I would support it. People are too comfortable to give up their cozy lifestyles and cable TV to take up arms against the government.

Welcome, welcome! Would you say that you favour a workers' state or are you an anarchist?

So do I.

Good, the Chinese are becoming consumerists and putting a greater stress on the world.

Just wait, the revolution in America will come soon enough. A great ecological disaster will soon be upon us which will change the way that we live forever. The middle class will become poor, and the very rich will become even richer. People's "cozy lifestyle" will dissappear as they know it. It will be a struggle for life and death for many people all over the industrialized world.

Anyways welcome to the board! It's nice to have the view of an older member since most of the people on the board are probaly about the same age as your teenage son.

The problem with a worker's state is that it usually creates a giant bureaucracy and could be worse than the system it seeks to replace as seen after the Russian revolution.

I am more of an anarchist at heart but I think society needs some form of law and order so that weaker members of that society don't get hurt.

I have been a victim of violence and criminal activity so I can tell you that the police and justice system in this country doesn't work. The rich are protected by their electric fences and the poor are victims of the same system that is supposed to protect them so the answer can only be radical change in thinking.

Where do you start?

Be the change you want to see. Reject all forms of corrupt capitalism. Turn off your television and read books. Don't get sucked into credit card debt- a modern form of slavery. Buy only what you need. Don't give up your guns and be prepared to rely on yourself in case of a disaster.

China is not a communist state: real communism means that the government's only job is to prepare for a classless, stateless society (=anarchy). Glad to have you here, comrade ;)
